E-Commerce Assistant Manager- Ownsite (Web/App)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented E-Commerce Assistant Manager (Ownsite) to take ownership of our 020 web/app and GrabMart channels. This leadership role will encompass all aspects of customer experience, from product selection and promotion to order fulfillment. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and profitability across these channels.
Job Description:
1. Strategic Planning & Merchandising:
- Develop and implement e-commerce merchandising strategies, including sales plans,promotional calendars, and inventory management, with a focus on maximizing sales and profitability for the 020 web/app and GrabMart channels.
- Partner with key brands to create winning proposals for campaigns, visuals, and other initiatives.
- Collaborate with e-Marketing to highlight key themes and products, ensuring an attractive and engaging website/app experience for customers.
2. Campaign Management & Execution:
- Oversee the accurate, timely, and successful execution of campaigns, promotions, product
- listings, banners, and layouts across web/app and platforms.
- Plan and execute campaigns that leverage data insights to highlight key themes and products.
3. Inventory Management & Optimization:
- Forecast stock and orders for both baseline and campaign periods, ensuring high product
- availability while staying within budget constraints.
- Conduct regular reviews of sales data, key performance indicators (KPIs), competitor activity,
- and market trends to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments.
4.Manage wholesale relationships within your area to ensure high profitability.
5.Manage the Magento backend, working with the Tech Hub and admin users to develop the
web/app and ensure smooth operations.
6.Customer Experience & Team Management:
- Lead the 020 team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Ensure an end-to-end customer experience that exceeds expectations for the 020 channels (web/app)
7.Collaboration & Communication: Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with departments like Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT, and external suppliers to achieve service level excellence.
Requirements:
- University Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related fields
- Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and presentation skills)
- Hands-on experience with Magento (mandatory); experience with Insider platform is a strong plus
- Positive attitude with a growth mindset and strong willingness to learn and adapt
- Proven ability to develop strategic planning and creative concepts
- Strong analytical skills to extract insights from data and optimize marketing performance
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media marketing, and latest digital formats
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional and regional teams
