Commercial Finance Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all aspects of commercial finance, manage master data, including suppliers and product items.
COGS / Margin Improvement:
- Liaise with business leaders to continuously drive margin improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Commercial Team on initiatives to drive better categories/ financial performance
- Prepare margin analysis, gross-to-net visibility for Commercial team to provide sufficient and timely information for decision-making, including but not limited to Sales, GP, supplier performance evaluation
- Validate effectiveness of promotion programs, support for registration with local authority
Trading Term Agreement (“TTA”):
- Provide insights and advice to Commercial team in TTA negotiation with suppliers
- Validate and ensure terms are correctly stated in TTA (both historical and future)
- Manage TTA including checking, updating and filing
Buying Income:
- Monitor trade agreements (any agreement which do not link to purchase value), including but not limited to claim back, rental display, promotion funding, listing fee
- Timely track and follow up with Buyers on pending agreements. Frequently monitor aging reports of pending buying income items with Commercial team
- Liaise with Finance & Accounting and Commercial teams to timely bill and collect buying income items
Master Data:
- Ensure all commercial master data (include but not limited to suppliers & product items, prices) are properly and timely maintained (create, change, delete).
- Frequently review master data reports, coordinate with across functions to timely address issues e.g. with inactive & deleted products, incorrect prices/promotion set-up, etc.
- Policies: design and implement SOP and related internal controls for master data, TTA and Buying income maintenance
- Process simplification: drive simplification with automation and/or process improvement
Manage and develop team members - Other tasks assigned by line manager
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Qualifications:
- Degree major in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
- Member of a professional body (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
2.Experience:
- 6-8 years experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting; Big 4 auditing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP and other similar ERP system
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of other data processing tools is a plus
- Experience in leading team
- Experience in multinational retail/ consumer goods will be an advantage

- Open to changes and willing to drive changes when needed
- English and Vietnamese proficiency in both writing and speaking
